In Italian, linguine means ‘little tongues’. It originated in Genoa and the Liguria region of Italy. Whilst spaghetti usually complements meat and tomato based dishes, linguine is often served with seafood or pesto.

Ever since the 1850’s, Australia has welcomed delightful and satisfying Italian cuisine which has firmly woven into modern Australian dining.
The Garlic Prawn Linguine was added to Màzi specifically by Sous Chef, Shane Thompson, who trained exclusively in Italian cuisine. The prawns are pan fried in garlic, olive oil, Verdelho white wine and chilli for added zest. Finished off by adding linguine, rocket leaves and parmesan cheese.
